About

In August 2023, I was involved in a serious car accident that changed everything. During my (very long and continuing) recovery, I underwent intensive chiropractic and neurological care for five days a week, for over a year and a half. This period of healing required me to reprioritize every part of my life, placing self-care at the forefront for the first time in my life.

As someone who had never been required to slow down before, the experience was incredibly physically and mentally transformative. I became deeply familiar with the realities of pain, the importance of nervous system regulation, and the therapeutic potential of intentional, skilled touch.

A pivotal moment in my recovery was receiving a bodywork session from my mother’s friend. That single session helped shift something internally. It helped me see that what I had once resented could be transformed into something meaningful. It showed me that healing could be shared, and that my own journey could be a path to helping others. That realization ultimately inspired me to pursue massage therapy as a professional calling!

Today, I approach massage not as a luxury, but as a vital part of human health. Just as we need water, movement, and rest, we also need safe, therapeutic touch. My work is grounded in the belief that bodywork supports the body's natural ability to heal, regulate, and restore.
